Wha......

First, no scoring in soccer or other kid's little league type activities and then classes wherein a failing grade cannot be achieved to preserve some kid's "self-esteem". Can it get more ridiculous. Yes, it can;
The word "fail" should be banned from use in British classrooms and replaced with the phrase "deferred success" to avoid demoralizing pupils, a group of teachers has proposed.

Is this real? It can't be.

"Deferred success"? Bwahahahaha!

My success as a star soccer player has obviously been deferred for quite some time. Also, I think my aspirations of pro snowboarding are going to have deferred success as well. Right after I end my deferred success on the discovery of cold fusion.

I too hope this is a hoax. Looks like Yahoo grabbed it from Routers though. Anyone know how big an organization PAT is?
If it's real, I propose a headline change, "Britian considers indeffinately deferring success of students by increasing the difference between the classroom experience and the real world."
"I'm sorry Mr. Hobswagle, the neurosurgeon deferred his success at removing your brain tumor. Please don't be angry with him because we don't want to affect his self esteem."
