[The terrorists] drove that point home with chilling clarity Wednesday in a poor Shiite neighborhood. As children crowded around U.S. soldiers handing out candy and toys in a gesture of good will, a bomb-laden SUV rolled up and exploded.
These children were not collateral damage. They were targets.
The SUV driver was no insurgent. He was a terrorist.

I wonder, when these guys get to the afterlife, does God "sit them down" and explain to them why they get to spend eternity in Hell? My personal understanding of Hell is that it's eternity spent lost and alone because you didn't choose knowledge of God in your earthly existance. People who blow up children make me want to believe in something more like Dante's version where the worse your sins on earth were, the more excruciating torture level you experience when you die.
