"Red Sea"

Foreign correspondent visits strange land, and reports on his discoveries. Again, they don't get it. Read as much as you can before you puke. In a nutshell: stoopid bigot conservative voters can't get past their gay-hating to vote for their own economic interests. Dangit, can't we see that they're just trying to help us? I at least have to give him credit for trying (he tries to be fair), but the fact that he treats this as if he were going to China is just too much.

A decent article. The author is identified as a staff writer for the Washington Post. Now lets see an article in the WP about how most big city folk could have been shown that Bush really isn't so dumb if only the conservatives had bothered trying...
Funny how everyone the author writes about, until he gets to Texas, basically doesn't like Bush. Though they do generally like his moral standing and often his domestic policies. Are you trying to tell me that in the whole trip, the author didn't come across people who think it's a good idea to strongly deter someone who pokes you in the eye with a sharp stick? Especially when that someone (pick your terrorist) would gladdly do it again to you and/or your family (America)...
Ah, but you say Iraq was a different story. It didn't threaten us. Sure it did. Saddam hated America (even tried to kill Bush Sr.) and financially (at least) supported terrorists. Not only was the article not particullay objective, but it carried on the media whiteout which tells us that the war in Iraq was a needless bad idea (and everyone in America thinks so too).
