if a new Supreme Court overturns affirmative-action laws, Democrats will need to pursue equality in ways that avoid treating whites and blacks differentlyI can't even begin to get my head around that statement. Isn't the whole point of equality not treating people differently? Isn't that what affirmative action is? A way of treat people differently? I thought so.
