High Tech Bush

A stab to the heart of those who want to think of President Bush as a knuckle draging savage.

Dude, I dunno if the iPod is a symbol of hipness. To me, since it has Apple associated with it, it is a symbol of all things queer. Can't they make stuff that doesn't look gay?

While the iPod might be considered queer due to hippy Apple roots, it is precisely that queer hippy hipness which many liberals value. That's what makes it so great that the figure which queer hip hippy liberals would likely lable as least like themselves is using an iPod.

Looking at the iPod another way, I think it deserves a pass from queerness because of functionallity. I don't actually own one, but based on the reviews I've seen of various hard drive based MP3 players (yeah, I said MP3 players, take that you DRM ghouls), iPod is still the gold standard.

OK, OK. I guess the iPod isn't as gay as other Apple stuff. One of my classmates has one (and they are made for PCs also) and it actually is kinda cool. Maybe in the future when I get some cash I'll get one. But in both form and function Apple products have been pretty gay. How can you possibly play Half Life with a mouse that has one button, and you smash the mouse down to activate it? Maybe I'm just being a good little Intel soldier, but that's what I think.

If it makes you feel any better, you could get an HP iPod.
