Stumbled on this story about how NJ flags (state and also Newark, Trenton, and Jersey City) suck, and remembered that NM's flag was ranked first a couple years ago in the state flag ranking. Now there is a city flag ranking out. The "greatest city on earth" got 25th. Well, the greatest city to me, at least. I rather like NM's flag, makes me miss home....I still haven't changed my license plates.

Yeah dude, NM's flag rocks. I would still have my license plates also if the AZ DMV hadn't hunted me down. The $400 YEARLY racket, er.. "registration fee", they collect from my truck is enough motivation to treat a different state's license plate like an AK in an elementary school. Once, at the place where I work, they actually had a checkpoint at the exit to bust offenders.
Didn't they show the New Jersey flag on an episode of the Simpsons? I believe it was a fat guy kissing a hot chick.
