V for Vendetta

I'm sure most of you have noticed the eyebrow raising undertones of the previews of V for Vendetta. I mean, obviously they are trying to target John Kerry. They had the movie's producer on Fox News this morning. Turns out that the movie's universe is drawn from a 1980s graphic novel portraying Margaret Thatcher's "arch-conservitive regime." I put that in quotes because it's exactly what the producer said.

I don't know dude...after watching the insufferable second two movies of the Matrix trilogy, I think I have put the Wachowski bros on my "do not watch" list. I admire the Iron Lady too - so that's another strike against this movie. Finally, Natalie Portman is in the movie, and she is a moron.

I don't watch movies anymore, they're all putrid preachy pieces of propagandistic poop.

I saw the movie. I know... But it looked cool and I mistook Portman for Macauley Culkin circa 1991 in the previews since she was all bald and stuff. Anyway, yeah, it was garbage. The creator of the Comic book (I refuse to call them "graphic novels" blech) disowned the thing. If it was a dis on Lady Thatcher, they did a great job spinning it onto a dis onto current times across the pond if you know what I mean. Save your $10, get beef on your nachos instead.
