TPTC Biblioteca?

What do y'all think of starting an internet library? I'll make a list of my books at home and post them as a comment, then others can do the same. If someone wants to read a book, either e-mail or post a request here and the owner will send it by mail. Postage should balance itself out if we're all borrowing.

Just a thought. I've seen several books I'd like to read lately, but didn't want to buy them or wait for weeks for the library to call me.

Dude, I'm down. There are a few books that I've been meaning to read and if you guys have got 'em, I won't have to buy them.

Sounds cool. I wonder if we should start another blog just for the purpose. My thought is that the book listing post on TPTC would get buried pretty quick. We could also do reading suggestions/reviews. Maybe including novels. E.g. Crime and Punishment is a relatively easy read and worth it. War and Peace may be worth it but I stopped trying after a hundred pages or so because I wasn't staying interested (but maybe someone else has finished it and knows that it starts picking up around page 300 or something).

Cool. Maybe Vetes can start up TPTC Biblioteca Blog. I guess we start off with politics and work our way into other subjects. Perhaps a good way to do this is to just have a link to an updated book-list that'll be uploaded by the last person adding a book or "checked out by" to it. We can then have individual threads with reviews on the books. I would also suggest that we limit the check-out period to a month, perhaps, so we get everyone a chance to read a book in a timely manner. What do you think, Vetes?
