More AP idiocy

Well, this time it's apolitical, but it's still utter incompetence and just plain bad journalism.

The AP headline says Ken Jennings "blasts" the show that made him. However, read his blog entry that was the source of the story. The AP has fallen for a humor piece. Every day, I hate the AP more and more....

The AP is obviously amoung those "humor-impaired sock puppet users." It's good that "the AP" tried to contact both Jeopardy officialdom and Jennings' representatives. Important to try and contact both sides on this kind of highly important issue.

I like how the morons at AP suddenly changed the headline to "tempers comments".

As if "tempering your comments" is pointing out to the probable-recent-snotnosed-Columbia Journalism School-grad AP reporter their errors in journalism. They don't even know satire when it comes around and smacks them upside the head for the second time.

I really have a thing against journalists - it's starting to become visceral. They're at or below the level of trial lawyers with me. I don't even like journalists who lean to the right.

I make an exception for sports journalists, although Peter King is starting to spout off political crap every so often, and Michael Silver is always irritating, even when he's not political.
