For many, Barack Obama isn't really about just his politics, it's about the "Get out of racism free" card. It's sickening, actually - people treating him like he's some messianic figure. I especially love the "now I don't have to use the 'I have black friends' excuse anymore".

I agree with you Tim and I think that a vote for Hillary is very similar, in other words "I'm not a sexist" or "go girl" type of comment. I had this conversation with Steve earlier today, it seems that the Dems are running on token canidates instead of which canidate is best for the country.
