Slammed at work lately, but it looks like stuff kinda died off anyway. Need Cliffs Notes...explosions of text just lead to a battle of attrition.
Anyway, this is one of the most compelling arguments for protectionism that I've come across in a while.

Ah, yes, you have convinced me. Some people should in fact have their free will superseded by a nanny state for the betterment of us all. Some people just can't handle the responsibility of a free society. We have no choice but to curtail the actions of the many because of those few who might exploit a free system to the detriment of us all. Indeed it would be a wonderful world if all could be trusted within a free system, but alas that is not the world we live in.
